Bernhard Schlink—jurist, legal philosopher, and internationally renowned author—will present and discuss his new book, “Gerechtigkeit. Ein Essay” (Justice: An Essay). The subject is the age-old question of what justice is, but the focus lies primarily on how it can be achieved. Schlink advocates a pragmatic, problem-solving approach to the issue of justice—one that requires careful, context-specific deliberation.
