## Description

* * *

Through a series of lectures, the international conference examines Paul Jacobsthal’s role in the scholarship and politics of his time, as well as his connections within academia, politics, and the art trade—connections that extended far beyond Europe’s borders. The program also includes presentations on the significance of Jacobsthal’s work for contemporary archaeological research.
