The 20th Marburg Symposium on Food Law, held during the anniversary year of Philipps University, is dedicated to the reduction of bureaucracy in food law—a topic of central importance in current political and social discourse.
For many years, the Marburg Symposium on Food Law has been organized in collaboration with the Hessian Ministry for Agriculture and the Environment, Viticulture, Forestry, Hunting and Heritage—the authority responsible for food law. It serves as a forum for exchange among food safety regulators, food businesses, consumer associations, the legal profession, and the academic community.
