Description
The founding of Philipps-Universität Marburg and the affiliated Gymnasium Philippinum was the result of a socio-political upheaval driven by the Reformation. Today, rapid developments in artificial intelligence find us once again in the midst of a similar process of transformation. Alumni of the Gymnasium Philippinum—who now help shape education from positions of responsibility—will join the President of Philipps-Universität in a panel discussion with guests. Together, they will explore how societal change shapes education and its institutions, and how educational institutions can play an active role in this transformation.
Panelists:
Philipps-Universität Marburg: Prof. Dr. Thomas Nauss (President), Prof. Dr. Sabine Föllinger (Greek Studies)
Gymnasium Philippinum Alumni: Prof. Dr. em. Katharina Krause (former President of Philipps-Universität), Prof. Dr. Julia von Blumenthal (President of Humboldt-Universität), Prof. Dr. Carsten Schneider (President of CEU)
Moderator: Katja Knetsch-von Stackelberg (Gymnasium Philippinum Alumni Association)
