XSpaces Scavenger Hunt: Recording Gameplay Footage

Studying interactive entertainment media presents the challenge of capturing unique, non-reproducible moments from experiences within virtual worlds. In this mini-workshop, participants will learn how to record game content from PCs, consoles, and VR systems and combine it with camera and microphone footage. Equipment available for loan from the Media Center will be integrated with the open-source software OBS to create a professional streaming setup. The skills learned in this course can easily be applied to other scenarios, such as recording video tutorials or screencasts of presentations.
